How to fix terminal shortcuts not working in RubyMine

Environment

• macOS Mojave 10.14.1

The shortcut to open a terminal in RubyMine is ⌥(option/alt) + F12, but if it doesn’t work,

Go to System Preferences → Keyboard → Check Use F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys and it will work.
